How the programme runs
How long does the Be Future Ready Executive programme last?
The programme itself lasts 10 months and is preceded by a formal opening and an inspirational onboarding event. Completion is followed by a closing ceremony attended by lecturers, experts and participants connected with the iLead Institute initiative. Networking meetings and additional events are also planned after the programme ends.
How often do the sessions take place?
Sessions take place once a month as two-day training modules.
When does the Be Future Ready Executive programme start?
The next intake opens with an onboarding dinner on 13 Jan 2027, followed by the first two-day module on 14–15 Jan 2027. You can find the current dates of all intakes in the schedule on the programme page.
Are the sessions online or in person?
All sessions take place in person, in Prague. Between modules, you can also stay in touch online with the lecturers and the iLead Institute team of experts.
What does the onboarding involve?
The onboarding is a unique opportunity to meet the team, get to know the programme in detail and build valuable business contacts at a dedicated networking event. It is open only to participants, lecturers and experts who share the idea of modern leadership. Alongside the formal part, a special networking gathering is planned as well.
Will I need to commit time outside the modules?
We expect to set individual assignments or exercises between modules. Some lecturers may provide pre-work ahead of a module. If you miss a session, you will be able to catch up on it. The programme is tailored closely to participants’ needs and circumstances.
Is there an exam at the end of the programme?
The programme does not end with an exam or a final thesis. Unlike an MBA, participation is based on a commitment to engage during the modules. The individual approach, small group and direct contact with lecturers are designed to genuinely develop your competences, so no formal assessment of knowledge is planned.

What formats are used in the training?
The workshops combine presentations, discussions, practical exercises and simulations. We use modern tools and formats — such as cards, simulation games, personality tests and AI. They also include case studies from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and around the world. Every session is highly interactive and engaging.
Who leads the training and who are the lecturers?
The training is led by experienced lecturers and hands-on business leaders, and all sessions are held in Czech. Each module includes an inspiring talk by an experienced leader and workshops led by top lecturers and trainers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Confirmed iLead Institute lecturers and experts include, for example, Radek Špicar and David Vrba.
Do I need to speak English to take part?
The programme is taught in Czech. All materials, articles, reports and case studies will be translated into Czech for participants. Some guest speakers may come from abroad, so English is welcome — but it is not essential, and the content will be accessible to everyone.
What certificate will I receive on completing the programme?
On completing the programme, you will receive a certificate issued by iLead Institute at a formal ceremony.
Who the programme is for
Who is the programme for?
The programme is designed for senior managers and leaders who want to develop the competences of the future and strengthen their position in the market. We recommend it for roles one level below the board (B-1). We welcome leaders with diverse experience who want not only to respond to new challenges but also to shape market trends. The programme is also well suited to family businesses and planned succession, and it helps managers in specialist fields broaden their competences and their strategic view of the company.
How many people are in the group?
The group is planned so that every participant has the best possible opportunity for personal development and contact with the lecturer. A small group makes it possible to share your own cases, experiences and challenges within it.
Can several people from one company take part?
Yes. The group will be made up of participants from different companies, sectors and specialisms, but several people from one company can apply. This allows close cooperation with the lecturers and a focus on company cases. The diversity of the group adds value to the experience everyone shares.
How does selection for the programme work?
Unlike MBA programmes, there are no formal requirements for previous degrees or fields of study. To take a full and active part in the programme, it helps to know the fundamentals of business, whether from education or practice. The programme is intended for people who already have experience of running their own business or team, or who are preparing for an executive role.
How does the programme differ from other training, development programmes or an MBA?
The programme builds on 25 years of experience in European markets. The workshops draw on real-world cases, current trends and tools used by the best universities. We connect the local and the global perspective by bringing in leading Czech and Slovak experts as lecturers and trainers — creating a network of leaders from business and academia that no conference or development programme can offer.
